What is Instructor Led Training?

Instructor Led Training (ILT) is real time training in the form of either an online webinar or a classroom lecture. More details about each form of ILT can be found below.

1. Webinar – uses either GoTo Training or WebEx

Administrator can set:

  • Webinar start time
  • Webinar duration
  • Maximum number of attendees allowed to attend the webinar
  • Webinar time zone

Administrator can add:

  • Webinar description
  • One training module
  • Survey
  • Certificate
  • E-Signature requirement
  • Tags
  • Categories
  • Mandatory attendance
  • Email notifications
    • Reminder for webinar
    • Assignment notification
    • Failure notification
    • Passing notification

2. Instructor Led Training Classroom Training

Administrator can set:

  • Attendance & completion criteria
    • Manual – based on score and a set passing percentage
    • Code – generates a code given to attendees

Administrator can add:

  • Classroom training description
  • Multiple sessions
    • Session name
    • Trainer name
    • Start date
    • Start time
    • Location
    • Time zone
  • One training module (can only be added to a classroom training if attendance & completion is being tracked using a code
  • Survey
  • Certificate
  • E-Signature requirement
  • Tags
  • Categories
  • Mandatory attendance
  • Review on completion
  • Email notifications
    • Reminder for classroom training
    • Reminder for test
    • Assignment notification
    • Failure notification
    • Passing notification
    • Reminder to submit code
